Comic Relief Charity Leg Waxing!!!

The day was RED NOSE DAY 2013...As my lovely wife is demonstrating so very well!

Comic Relief, It's a national charity event that happens every 2 years(alternating each year with Sport Relief) and for years I've wanted to do something, to take part and prove my worth.

So my wife and I's first idea was...Pay £1 and wear pajamas or something red to work which my wife and I rightly chose pajamas, It was bloody brilliant and very comfy wearing what we wear around the house on a weekend with slippers and getting away with.

The second idea I had was....I know it's been done a lot BUT I had to give it a go, LEG WAXING...all i can say is...women...or men who do this on a regular basis, I think have a screw loose because it's bloody painful.
But I agreed to do it as long as we raised £100 by lunch time. Something I noticed was...people become alot more generous with money when there's the prospect of seeing someone in pain (by people, I mean women and by someone...i mean a man). There's something a little bit psychotic that comes out in the ladies, especially the receptionist at our work...who was dressed as Scooby Doo ALL DAY! (she's funny!)

So I was there sat patiently waiting to be physically abused by my wife (bless her heart) and all that was going through my head was..."I don't want to flinch or wince for the first strip"...and luckily for me, I didn't...I just blinked. I obviously did a small victory dance inside my head!

Well then things started to get a little more surreal as it started to sting a bit. Along came Scooby Doo!

I was waxed by my wife and Scooby Doo....how many other people can say that! (PROUD!)

This is when it really started hurting! I kind of expected but stupid me wanted to see what it would feel like to have my wife and Scooby to rip a waxing strip off at the same time on different legs...i don't recommend anybody tries this in the future, it's quite shocking really!

I know who ever is reading this now is probably wanting to see photos of me in pain....well here goes!

or

Watch the video!

At the end of the day, the small bit of pain I went through was so worth it! In total we raised over £200 .... I like to think a lot of that was to do with me....well....people wanting to hurt me!

Me and my amazing wife after my terrifying ordeal!
